I won’t lie, it’s strange having a job based on something we all do every single day, getting dressed. (There are of course exceptions to this, being a pool cleaner at a nudist camp, etc.) I guess it’s how you look at it. I see getting dressed and filling a space as an opportunity to tell a story. For example, I like what you’re wearing. Yes, your jorts and mandals with socks work in my book because they’re saying something about you and filling a special spot in my mental database as to what someone like you would wear. I’m not looking to fix anyone, but rather represent people properly in photographs, film and television. It’s what I love, it’s what I think about everyday and it’s what I want to share on this fun blog o’ mine.
I’m a wardrobe and prop stylist based out of Chicago who won’t sit down until she’s seen it all, therefore Dr. Scholls are a must.
